With the reissue of the Air Max 90 DQM Bacon on the way, StockX dug through the history books and interviewed David Ortiz – the founder of DQM and creative visionary behind this now-legendary colorway – to learn the full story behind the design. It’s a convoluted tale, unlike any other Air Max 90 release in history. For starters, the Air Max 90 DQM Bacon wasn’t supposed to be released at all, and when it did, it wasn’t even that popular.
