Jordan Brand has officially unveiled Russell Westbrook’s third signature shoe, the Jordan Why Not Zer0.3.
Westbrook’s latest model comes constructed in a mix of mesh and textiles throughout the upper with an added midfoot strap for lockdown. “I wanted something different on this one, and I think the strap adds a little bit of flare and uniqueness to it,” Westbrook stated in the press release.
It also includes a new Zoom Air cushioning system in the forefoot designed for giveaway responsiveness during play. Finishing off the design is a split outsole that incorporates a modified herringbone traction.
“I don’t take it for granted that I have my own shoe with the Jordan Brand,” said Westbrook. The shoe takes on an additional meaning for him too. “Not only does it have a balance of great technology and style, but it represents more than just me. It represents hope and inspiration and aims to instill belief in the youth.”
