JW Anderson is set to release his latest collaboration with Converse by adding a new midsole to the Chuck Taylor creating the Run Star Hike.
The collaboration drew immediate attention when it debuted during the designer’s Spring/Summer 2019 Collection show last September in London. It features a White canvas F001 all a chunky midsole tooling from the product eng 7971 CONVERSE CHUCK TAYLOR CORE HI 3J253 SHOES, a runner that debuted in 2018. The date “1917” written by the usual All-Star logo honors the Shine of the original model. A combination of Gum, White, and Blue on the outsole completes the design.
