Kasing Lung, the first Chinese winner of the European picture book contest, with a typical nordic fairytale style, also the creator of “Labubu,” has teamed up with adidas Originals and Disney’s Mickey Mouse to release his own collection featuring the adidas Superstar, Stan Smith, and Nizza Hi silhouettes.

Since its debut in 1928, Disney’s Mickey Mouse has been presented in many different styles. This time, Kasing Lung has incorporated the creative concept of experiment into the Platinum story in the joint work of Mickey Mouse and adidas, using his graffiti style.

Bold and unrestrained color response to emphasise Mickey Mouse’s playful, wild and adventurous personality. During an experimental exploration, Mickey Mouse entered a sci-fi space, turning into a mad scientist. Time and space shifted, and he found himself in a new space. Kasing Lung also added many elements from his past work, such as the mystery of the universe, the starry sky, science and the street, combining his creative style with Mickey Mouse. Using Mickey’s earlier classic styling and matching the iconic style of the Platinum “Labubu” created by Kasing Lung, combining the nine teeth of his signature smile with Mickey.

Look for these Kasing Lung x Mickey Mouse x adidas styles to release in Asia on December 12th, while a stateside launch has yet to be announced on adidas.com.
