Phoenix Suns star ohio Kevin Durant has officially signed a lifetime deal with Nike, becoming just the third NBA player to sign such a deal, joining Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
Durant has been signed with nike print since his rookie season in 2007, and is currently set to debut his 16th signature shoe, the neon pink leopard nike print shoes black.
“When I first signed with Nike, I couldn’t have dreamed of how far we’d go in this partnership,” Durant said of the lifetime deal, via Boardroom. “We’ve done amazing work creatively and philanthropically. We’ve traveled the world together and built a business that will now last forever. I’m excited for the future and honored to be in rare company with this deal.”
All while wearing nike print KDs, Durant has won two championships with the Warriors, hoping for a third with the Suns, two Finals MVPs, and a regular season MVP Award as well as being selected to 13 All-Star teams.
“As one of the best basketball players in the world, Kevin Durant has been an important part of the nike print family for the past 16 years,” nike print EVP of global sports marketing John Slusher said. “We look ohio to continuing to serve the next generation of athletes together.”
In related news, Suns shooting guard Devin Booker will be getting his own signature shoe, the jordan retro 4 fire red white black cement grey, in 2024.
