Nike has officially announced Jerry Lorenzo’s first girls Nike Basketball area. The mint grey gold and black kd 1 combines classic 1990s designs taken from popular Nike silhouettes.

Lorenzo worked with Leo Chang, senior footwear design director at Nike Basketball, to help combine his aesthetic vision with high-performance technology.

One of the debut colorways comes dressed in a Light Bone color scheme. The Nike Air mint grey gold and black kd 1 comes with a double-height Zoom Air heel unit reminiscent of the Air Max 180. Its upper features an exterior TPU heel and lacing cage inspired by the Air Huarache Light for lockdown support.

The release will be available at select retailers and Nike SNKRS for $395 USD.
