Originally released in 1997, Nike Basketball debuted its Foamposite technology using two different Tanjun, the Air Foamposite One and the Air Foamposite Pro. While the Foamposite One features the 1CENT logo, the Pros come with an added Jewel Swoosh on the sides and no Penny branding. Two popular colorways from the retro have been the “Pearl” and “Hyper Cobalt” releases.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Parl” was released exclusively at Foot Locker’s House of Hoops in limited quantities back May 2009. The colorway became popular after Ray Allen wore quick in the “He Got Game” film back in 1998.
Released back in 2016, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Hyper Cobalt” features a familiar color scheme, one that nods to the Ben Gordon PE colorway from 2004.
