Originally founded on January 25, 1964, as “Blue Ribbon Sports”, by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight, the brand outfit officially became Nike on May 30, 1971 – taking its name from Nike, the Greek goddess of victory. That same year, the Swoosh logo was created by Carolyn Davidson.

To celebrate the 52nd Anniversary of the Swoosh logo and the company adopting the name Nike in 1971 that brand is releasing a special edition “52” collection. The york already includes a pair of Zoom Vomero 5s as well as the Dunk Low, which we share the second colorway of the latter.
