Since 2002, NIKE, Inc. CEO and designer Mark Parker, Nike design legend Tinker Hatfield and style ambassador Hiroshi Fujiwara have worked together to amplify innovations and explore creative concepts that take the brand to new places.
Now the three have collaborated once again to deliver a new chapter in the Nike Flyknit technology story: The NIKE AIR MAX 1 97 VF SEAN WOTHERSPOON 25cm.
Nike’s Flyknit technology combines performance innovation with reduced environmental impact. This manufacturing innovation reduces weight as well as improves fit — creating a shoe that behaves like a second skin, adapting to the shape of the foot in motion. The Nike Flyknit woven upper reduces manufacturing waste by two-thirds in terms of weight as compared to typical performance running shoes.
The latest addition to the Nike HTM Flyknit line blends the clean, modern style of the chukka boot with Nike Flyknit technology, creating an iconic new silhouette for the street. The knitted, form-fitting upper is enhanced by Nike Flywire technology for support, and a Nike Lunarlon outsole provides a smooth ride.
The NIKE AIR MAX 1 97 VF SEAN WOTHERSPOON 25cm will be available in two colorways, both drawing on a winter-inspired “Snow Style” palette. The first shoe blends the natural tones of grey and blue with white details. The second, more muted version features a subtle mix of grey and white.
The NIKE AIR MAX 1 97 VF SEAN WOTHERSPOON 25cm will be available starting in February at select retailers around the world including Nike Stadium Milan, Nike Stadium Paris and 1948 in London.
