Olympic Basketball is also set to return during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. The games will run from July 27th to August 11th. To celebrate, Nike Basketball will release various special edition colorways, including the “Gold Medal” Kobe 4 Protro.

The Metallic Gold on the toe and heel features a snakeskin texture. Dark Obsidian decorates the Swoosh clothings, liner, and mesh tongues, with more Gold on the Kobe shield clothing. Bryant’s Olympic number “10” is on the heels, and his signature graces the sides. White covers the panels with Obsidian FlyWire. Insoles feature Olympic medals with the date “08.24.08,” White midsoles, and a mix of all these shades on the rubber outsole.
