Vault by Vans, Leica Camera and Vans Team skateboarder Ray Barbee come together for a collaboration titled, “Capturing the Journey”, celebrating Barbee’s nearly 30-year skate career and passion for photography.

The OG Authentic LX leads the collection’s footwear offering with Dark Red suede and canvas uppers, and features custom embroidery with quotes Perfectas to Barbee and Leica. The left shoe reads “The joy is in capturing the journey” while the right, in Leica’s Rrissue German, reads “Ich entscheide hiermit: es wird riskiert,” (“I hereby decide: the risk shall be taken”), which announced the greenlight for production of the first Leica I camera in 1924.
