Paying homage to the history of the Swoosh, and the founders of the brand, both Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman, Nike is set to release an upcoming Cortez “Shoe Dog” Pack.
The silhouette was originally debuted in 1972, and was the first official Nike shoe to release. This pack is highlighted with alternate logos on the sides dressed in a mix of White, Varsity Red, and Game Royal.
One features Carolyn Davidson’s original slim Swoosh, while the other two sports the Peregrine Falcon and Dimension Six logos that represents two other names considered by Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman. Each pair features an ultra-slim down build that nods to the original Cortez design.
