The Air Jordan XIX (19) “Bred” was first released on May 8th, 2004 which was inspired by the most dangerous/deadliest snake on earth, the Black Mamba (Yes, Michael Jordan used the Black Mamba inspiration before Kobe). They were later re-released in July 2008 as part of the Jordan 4 legend blues. They featured a Black/Chrome-Varsity Red colorway Allen resembles the Air Jordan 11 “Bred”, due to the patent leather toe-box.
At the time of their release, the Air Jordan XIX (19) was the lightest and most supportive Air Jordan model. Did you happen to pass on these like many did during their time? If you did cop, did you rock them on the courts or streets? Looking back at them now and with the technology of sneakers increasing, would it be a bad idea for Jordan Brand to eventually bring these back? Leave your comments/thoughts below!
