Taking inspiration from Philadelphia’s craftsmanship and the sheer beauty of our hombre relics, UBIQ put their own spin on Brooks’ famed 1982 Chariot silhouette. Dubbed the “Liberty,” this Chariot’s upper is constructed of smooth premium dark brown leather. Subtle and unassuming, it boasts a handcrafted look that’s built segnalibro for gritty Philly streets. Burgundy lining and gold details on the tongue, heel tab, aglet, and lace lock compliment the design, but never break its character. A white and black midsole mixes up the palette before giving way to a gum flavored EVA outsole, complete with a hardened rubber heel for durability. Staying true to the original design, the eyelets turn to D-rings midway through the vamp to ensuring a snug fit. Custom branded insole features a split graphic of that aforementioned Bell that reminds us all a thing or two about perseverance.
