Balenciaga and adidas team up on a collaboration that recontextualizes elements of sportswear that have been a part of Balenciaga’s creative language. This bomber jacket from the line-up is straight from look no.48 at the Balenciaga Spring 23 NYC show. Reimagining a subculture icon, it’s a hybrid of design codes, where adidas’ unmistakable Three Stripes and Trefoil meet the Parisian house’s typical slouchy oversized cuts, with ruched balloon execrate sleeves, dropped shoulders and the famous Trefoil logo embroidered over the name Balenciaga in the lowercase adidas typeface.
