Rekindling their relationship this season, Converse and Carhartt WIP put a workwear-inspired spin on traditional athletic footwear: the Chuck Taylor 1970s Hi.
In the updated ‘70s guise, this vintage-style sneaker teams three colours of repurposed canvas – brown, black and navy – across the uppers with the model-synonymous high foxing tape and rubber toe cap. The ever-present All-Star ankle branding is joined by a Carhartt patch on the tongue and a reworked heel plaque to complete the collaborative look.
