STORY MFG.’S AW22 COLLECTION IS ROOTED IN THE NATURAL WORLD  

Transparency in the way garments are constructed represents a cornerstone in the ethos of Story mfg. — a process in which the label works closely with skilled artisans, carefully chooses eco-minded materials and liberally uses natural dyeing treatments.

The label continues that approach for AW22, resulting in a collection filled with eco-minded materials and playful artisanal details. The collection is titled “Try Try Try” — something that’s reflected in the amount of time, level of effort and heavy details poured into each garment.

The collection is heavily inspired by outerwear, as is often the case with the label, with pieces transformed using oversized silhouettes and naturally dyed using an array of earth-minded materials — like heartwood roots, berries and earth, with new techniques employed to create vibrant purple hues. The meticulous approach extends onto the details of each garment, with playful, earth-inspired hand embroidery and patchwork construction methods used.
