Joining forces for adidas' 2-day 747 Warehouse Street festival, Y-3 and James Harden unveiled a capsule collection of footwear, apparel, and accessories for SS18 back in February. Now slated for global release on April 13th, revisit the collection with a dynamic lookbook shot by Yvan Fabing.
Paying homage to the 'King of Flowers', a Botan motif is applied deftly across a range of sport-via-streetwear pieces, ready for a contemporary audience with a risk-taking spirit. Fabled as being reflective of nobility, honour, good fortune, and respect, the employment of the motif serves as a symbol of Harden's well-known sportsmanship.
In terms of curb-appeal, the capsule riffs on the adidas 'BYW' BBall sneaker. Featuring an innovative chunky pod-like sole from the mid-90s, the sneaker is retooled to include BOOST technology to provide in both form and function. Other sneakers slated to appear in the capsule collection include riffs on a Y-3 Baysho and Tangutsu silhouettes.
The Y-3 x James Harden capsule collection will launch at UrlfreezeShops on April 13th.
