We are listening. This is just the beginning...
Dear UrlfreezeShops Community...
Like you, we were shocked and disgusted by the brutal killing of George Floyd in Minnesota on the 25th May. The video of this horrific act has brought to the surface racial fault lines across all walks of life. Like many others, we posted the Black Box on our social media channels, but this is simply not enough.
UrlfreezeShops is unequivocally against all forms of racism, hate, prejudice and police brutality.
We have spent the last week reflecting, listening to others, learning and thinking about how we can do better. We must work hard to do better and to make real change.
We understand that our platform and community provide us with a voice, and we want to use this positively to help spread awareness and initiate positive change for the world we want to live in. Actions speak louder than words.
We pledge to continue to listen, learn and grow to fulfil our goal of creating a more diverse and inclusive brand for our community.
Below are some of the charities we have donated to and an inexhaustive list of resources for education and activism surrounding anti-racism in the UK and across the world.
