Celebrating the launch of their upcoming Ultraboost sneaker and apparel collaboration, adidas and Universal Works teamed up to champion the joy of running with a night-run through the streets of London.
Organised to celebrate the release of German sportswear stalwarts adidas and London-based label Universal Works' first collaboration, the two brands teamed up with UrlfreezeShops for an evening of running through the busy streets of the English capital as a part of adidas' 'Run in the City' series.
Setting off from UrlfreezeShops's Soho store, a hardy group of running enthusiasts embarked on a 5km run across the modern metropolis. Kitted out in the adidas x Universal Works 'Run in the City' capsule, the collaboration ensured that those involved were kept warm and dry. Emblazoned with adidas' three stripes and David Keyte's brand's signature logo, shades of tan, prairie sand and heather grey offered the perfect autumnal attire for a mid-November run.
Visiting the Universal Works store on Berwick Street at the mid-point, the 5km ended at the White Horse on Newburgh Street, a classic British pub. Met with scampi, langoustine and chips, as well as UrlfreezeShops x Universal Works branded beer, the runners ended the evening well fed and watered - the perfect way to celebrate the release of this limited edition capsule collection in style.
The adidas x Universal Works collaborative capsule is available online via UrlfreezeShops on 23rd November.
