Introducing Palmes, the menswear label where contemporary fashion meets the tennis courts. Inspired by founder Nikolaj Hansson’s experiences playing the sport, Palmes was born with sartorial dress codes and tennis wear at its core, utilising tailored clothing as a foundation to find the sweet spot between fashion and sportswear. Jeu de paume, an older version of modern-day tennis, is where the label’s name is derived, where players used their palms to hit the ball. 

Designed to inspire a new audience as well as develop a world that allows tennis styles and men’s modern clothing to collide, Palmes creates ready-to-wear pieces that can be worn both on and off the court. Check out the shorts, t-shirts, and shirt jackets, all detailed with custom graphics, intricate embroidery or collegiate logos.  

Palmes aims to show tennis as a sport and culture from a more progressive and forward-looking perspective. And founder Hansson’s skater roots are reflected in this narrative and evident throughout the Copenghagen-based label’s collections, with relaxed sweats, hoodies and long sleeve t-shirts being integral to the brand’s DNA, all helping to reshape perceptions of traditional tennis styles.
