A stand-out piece from Maharishi’s third drop of SS22, this black hoody takes cues from Edo period artist Utagawa Sadahide. It’s made from a soft cotton jersey and is cut to a relaxed fit with free-hand machine embroidery decorating the front and back. The work depicts an intricately woven Tibetan dragon fighting off two prowling tigers – said to be demonstrating a physical representation of the earth and sky.
