Fusing art and a sustainable approach to fashion, Pangaia link up with Japanese artist Haroshi for their collaborative capsule.
Renowned for his sculptures made from skateboard decks, Haroshi's practice was born from a desire to reuse and recycle objects that provided so much joy and excitement in his life. Cultivating a unique aesthetic sensibility, the Japanese artist favours popular and recognisable forms as the subject of his sculpture. Placing a broken piece within each artwork, Haroshi is inspired by Unkei, a 12th Century Buddhist sculptor, giving each piece a "soul".
Joining forces with Pangaia, Haroshi and the London-based brand share their collaborative capsule collection. Adorned with images of Haroshi's iconic work with Medicom BE@RBRICK, the capsule offers tees, hoodies and joggers in black and white, constructed with Pangaia's state of the art, sustainable fabrics.
