Sean Wotherspoon & adidas Revisit Their Experimental Superstar Super Earth

adidas and Sean Wotherspoon have collaborated many times now, with key principles forming their design approach: firstly, eco-minded materials are paramount, and secondly, the aesthetic must be bold. The two are back together this season, looking to their debut collaborative sneaker, the Superstar Super Earth.

Eco-Minded Materials

Just like last time, the iconic shoe is transformed using an array of vegan-friendly fabrics, ranging from synthetic leather at the uppers to recycled rubber in the soles and toe caps. The experimental details are brought over, too, with thread hanging down from embroidered flowers and Trefoils.

Embroidered Details

There are some additions that make the appearance even more striking than last time, though, like the mismatched black, green and blue uppers, and the earth-inspired, cartoon-like character across the laces.
