Nike x PEACEMINUSEONE Kwondo1

Last time Nike and G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSEONE joined forces with their “Para-Noise” Air Force 1, the approach leant in on the multihyphenate's experimental approach to his creative output. This season, the two are back together again, with that bold approach to design continued.

Brogue-Like Detailing

The result is the Kwondo1: an all-new shoe that’s inspired by multiple different sources, an approach reflective of the artist’s eclectic, cross-disciplinary career — one that includes being a fashion designer, rapper and producer, to name a few.

Co-Branded Details

The shoe represents a seamless fusion of relaxed and refined, with inspiration taken from everything from football boots and golf shoes to bowling and skate footwear. The uppers are cut from smooth white leather and feature cut out, brogue-like patterning throughout, as well as co-branded kilties — displaying both Nike’s Swoosh and PEACEMINUSONE’s logo — across the laces. The sole unit is chunky and accented with welt-like detailing, too, to really drive home the collaboration's laidback, yet elevated, aesthetic.
