Throughout the history of Air Jordan, sneakers have been designed with heavy references to the illustrious career of MJ himself, often worked in through subtle referencing and detailing. The latest Air Jordan 4, dubbed “Frozen Moments”, is an example of this approach; its name, for instance, is a subtle nod to “The Shot” — Jordan's legendary, playoff game-winning shot against the Cavaliers in ’89.
The sneaker itself is a relatively pared-back affair, with grey and off-white tones appearing throughout, with chrome accented at the eyestays to further the premium look.
