Since its inception in 2006 as a digital mood board, Justin Saunders’ JJJJound has evolved into a fully-fledged design studio with an indelible impact on the fashion industry. Integral to this success has been the partnerships JJJJound has formed through collaborative sneaker offerings, with New Balance being right at the centre of this.

Their latest partnership sees the duo look to the ever-popular 2002R once again, this time taking a more utilitarian approach by throwing GORE-TEX and toggle laces into the equation. The aesthetics adhere to what we know and love from New Balance and JJJJound, with a duo of tasteful, understated colourways in the form of pine green and charcoal grey. Branding, as always, is kept refined, too, with JJJJound’s logo worked into the lace toggle and insole.
