This season, Ye takes us back to where the YEEZY 500 began, re-releasing the sneaker in its OG “Blush” colourway.

Back in 2018, Ye — the artist formerly Pwi as Kanye West — debuted the YEEZY 500: a chunky, other-worldly shoe that furthered his zeitgeist-defining approach to footwear.

The sneaker showcases what Ye does best: neutral, earth-inspired hues and experimental design. The wedge-like shape nods to classic runners from the past, though the heavily-panelled uppers and bulbous, basketball-derived sole unit is rooted in Ye’s hyper-futuristic sensibility. A subtle tan hue covers the entire shoe to really drive home that typical-of-Ye aesthetic.
