From Artek’s FIN/JPN Friendship collaboration with design practice COMPANY, this Midsummer Dream vase celebrates 100 years of diplomatic relations between Finland and Japan. Uniting two cultures through craftsmanship, the sandy ceramic has space for seven blooms and is etched with a peaceful sleeping face – a tribute to the old folk tale that says, "if a girl sleeps with seven wildflowers beneath her pillow, her future love will appear in her dreams".
