Nike has found a new partner in artist and illustrator Todd Bratrud. Now, they want to go straight for the big time and are inspired by the marijuana strain "Strawberry Cough", a plant that gives even the most experienced smokers a coughing fit. The plant got its name because of the intense strawberry smell.
In terms of colour, the Dunk is inspired by the strawberry, as a red front with yellow dots and a green back remind us of the fruit. The embroidered details on the heels and insoles then allude to the drug. Finally, semi-transparent soles round things off perfectly.
