1984, history was made with the launch of the adidas ZX-series. The focus of the ZX-series back then was on the athletic performance of the shoe. The Torsion bone is an ultralight bridge that connects the forefoot with the heel, resulting in a special stability for the whole foot – a unique revolution in the running shoe technology.
