Puma keeps people guessing, re-releasing or restyling their classic running shoes. With their most recent venture into keeping their classics fresh Puma has teamed up with Solebox for a re-release of Puma’s 698 Runner shoe, seen first in 1989. Solebox, a Berlin sneaker boutique, has added leaked some sneak preview pictures of the upcoming collaboration. The shoe appears to have a light blue/cool gray – pink – Phase – black colorway, which looks really tasteful. The sole features Puma’s Trinomic technology with the hexagonal pattern being copied in some of the lining on the upper in a light blue color. The letters “NOMIC” are visibile on the back with the Puma logo above it, but our guess that the word in full is TRINOMIC, just not visible in the pictures. The tongue features a Puma – Solebox collaboration tag at the top. This should be a pretty dope release. Stay posted for release info and availability. via Solebox
