Kobe Bryant – Nike iD Zoom Kobe IV
The NBA decided to schedule a number of games on Christmas Day this year as opposed to the occasional one or two. While the prime time matchup was between the LA Lakers and the Boston Celtics in a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals there were a number of other games on the schedule as well including the Clevleand Cavaliers vs the Washington Wizards, the Phoenix Suns vs the San Antonio Spurs, the Orlando Magic latest the New Orleans Hornets, and the Dallas Mavericks who visited the Portland Trailblazers.
As we all know the NBA has a strict dress code both on an off the court that has been in place pow as long as we can remember, at least on the court, all shoes have had to conform to the team’s uniform colors, otherwise players would be fined a hefty amount by the League. The occasional exception of course is the NBA All-Star Game every year but this year both adidas and Nike went all out with their Player Exclusives for the players who were playing on Christmas.
Last season’s MVP, Kobe Bryant, debuted his Nike Zoom Kobe IV in his very own Nike iD colorway. Additionally Nike decided to give 100 lucky fans in attendance a pair of Nike iD Zoom Kobe IV’s in a special Red Nike gym bag. Lebron James wore his Chalk Edition Nike Zoom Lebron VI’s. nike dunk high sail royal blue Air Jordan CP3.II. Nike Court Vapor Lite Hommes Hard Court Tennis Chaussures nike puffy jacket su7213 purple. Ray Allen had on a Christmas colorway of the Air Jordan Team 2.5. Rajon Rondo rocked the Nike Blue Chip Low, with a special Santa Clause graphic on the shoe’s tongue. Dwight Howard wore a special colorway of the adidas TS Commander in a Superman inspired colorway. Amare Stoudemire and Caron Butler each wore a pair of the new Nike Basketball Foamposite Lite’s.
