Kobe Bryant’s latest signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, has made history as the lightest basketball shoe ever create as well as one of the lowest cut basketball shoes out there. The nike flex contact toddler girl is also notable, aside from all the sick technical and design aspects of the shoe, for the fact that is is one of the first Nike signature shoe for a superstar that has been available on Nike iD. Since Christmas Day in 2008, the Zoom Kobe IV has been available on Nike iD in limited quantities of 24 per day.
Those that have been lucky enough to grab a spot online have come up with a variety of colorways and been kind enough to share their creations with other sneaker heads. The pair above was done up in a Fairfax High School colorway, which is the high school located in Los Angeles that is sponsored by LeBron James. Some have chosen to design the shoes with traditional Lakers colorways, keeping true to Kobe’s home and away colors. Fans of other teams have chosen to give the shoe a colorway that goes with their favorite jerseys (see the Knicks colorway after the jump). Others have ventured away from traditional colorways and have designed the shoe using whatever inspiration struck their imagination.
