Not that either of the previous collaborations nike air force 1 low triple red Lemar and Dauley x DC Xander is inspired by tennis: both the game and its courts. This pair is made mostly of rich suede plus a few tonal accents. The mesh on the tongue and swooping down from the collar through the rear quarter evokes the strings, as do the translucent soles. Leather trim on the tongue and piping around the rear mesh insert and eyelets is said to symbolize the raquet handles, while insole graphics depict a tennis match to complete the theme. These joints are set to drop at all DC LIFE retailers worldwide on May 1, 2009.
