Steve Nash probably isn’t the first player that comes to mind when thinking of those who jaw at their opponents on-court. Despite his calm demeanor, Nash will be remembered for a bunch of ‘Trash Talk’. The release of the Nike Tekno черные shows as much forward thinking as his world-class court vision. Constructed of leather and synthetics collected as waste from other designs, these joints also employ an outsole made of environmentally-friendly rubber and 100% recycled sockliners.
This edition of the Zoom MVP furthers Nike’s Considered Design initiative by utilizing 100% recycled fibers like the orange box launched by Beaverton back in 1995. The difference with this one is that the new design decreases the use of that fiber by nearly 30%, which should reduce their annual use of cardboard by the equivalent of 200,000 trees when it’s made standard for all releases in 2011. These joints are set to drop as a Nike Croatia Training Ground exclusive on Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22nd. via FRESHNESS

The new Nike Considered Design shoebox uses 30 percent less fiber than the previous design. The new design in this picture is overlaid on top of the previous shoebox to show where the reductions (in light grey) have been made.
