Is the girls jordan 12 University Blue a tribute to Michael Jordan’s days as a student athlete at the University of North Carolina? It’s pretty clear that most University Blue colorways of Air Jordans have been a nod to Jordan’s collegiate years as a dorset ram (better recognized as a Tar Heel, though the name has nothing to do with the animal). The color blue isn’t a first for the girls jordan 12 – remember the girls jordan 12 “Melo” and the girls jordan 12 Low of 2004 – but never has it owned so much of the upper. In addition to the eye-catching color is the translucent “ice” sole and the new JORDAN branding on the heel – an obvious contemporary take on a Jordan logo. These have already popped up at select shops but will officially release tomorrow, July 31st, at Jordan Brand retailers like Extra Butter, Jordan Brand will continue their Air Jordan 11 Low models into the eBay.
