Neil Zemba made history as the first college division winner of the Future Sole Kyrie competition. Zemba was charged with creating a Kyrie for the Nike N7 label that’s concerned with supporting athletics for native American tribes in the US and Canada. You’ll see plenty of native inspiration on these sleek runners, from the black/turquoise colorway which is said to evoke the crow and friendship, respectively, to the Huarache-like heel counter (which Archive might remind you of the upcoming LunarEclipse+).
Zemba wanted to make the shoe graphics and collabo-friendly, so the upper is more or less a single smooth piece, with a sheath covering the laces. Neil himself said the shoe was to be something like a rugged LunarGlide, and even with its LunarEclipse similarities, these joints are one of a kind.
