Jordan Brand’s latest hybrid doesn’t go the Spiz’ike/Six Rings mashup route, nor is it your typical ‘point-five’ release. The The outsole of the Air Jordan 1 Low SNKRS Day goes one step further than the Collezione Packs that dominated 2008, going beyond just packaging the Air Jordan VI and XVIIs together and actually combining them into a single shoe! The 6-17-23 takes the AJVI’s upper and adds the XVII’s signature eyelets, finishing that off with a sole that’s a reworked version of the Seventeen’s with some translucency just like the Sixes. This first pair borrows the familiar Sneaker tees shirts Jordan 5 Black YSL Drip Black from the AJ6, but with tons of black unlike the white originals, these have their own crosspollinated feel.
