Derek Jeter is considered one of the best post-season players in the history of professional baseball. Mock up a greatest all-time list of playoff performers and leading off that impressive line-up is surely number 2 of the New York Yankees, who holds the record for most hits, runs, and total bases in postseason history. Jeter’s going after his sixth championship this postseason and while doing so, he’ll debut the Jordan Jeter Cut, which signifies the 10th Anniversary of his first signature shoe with Jordan Brand. Featuring a combination of patent and matte leather on the upper with a metallic silver Jumpman on the heel and his famous jersey number stamped on the upper ankle, the Max Air Strike Jordan Jeter Cut will officially be Jeter’s signature shoe for the 2011 season. One interesting point of focus on the shoe is the use of the Nike swoosh (on the spikes) on a Jordan shoe – a co-branding that ceased with the Nike Air Jordan 4 Oreo Tech White UK8.5. Take a look at the images after the jump and keep an eye out for these during the rest of the American League Championship Series.
