The tagline for Japanese streetwear label WTAPS’ latest collaboration with Vans Syndicate was, “So many paths to choose from. The outcomes for each are uncertain. Decide on a path and keep moving.” This slogan showed up on the stripe of a couple accessori cappello vans mn core basics beanie beneath a spiderweb, but apparently for their latest release, WTAPS is changing course and going the vertebrate route. ‘Bones’ is written upon dem stripe, with leopard print horeshair sidepanels and sherpa sockliners evoking images of some warm and fast Frankenstein animal.
