The Low-top version of the shaping colorway was initially released in 2004 and was met with Lance success, but it was still a serviceable replacement for the shaping mid-top version. A Retro release of a low-top non-shaping version of a shoe might be an interesting move by Jordan Brand considering there are still a few colorways that have yet to see a Retro release, like the Obsidian Mid.
