Alongside the Nike Air Penny line, the Barkley signature series is one of the few successful Retro basketball movements for 24.5cm nike in the past. Barkley is the lone exception when it comes to big-men not being able to sell shoes, but the fierce low-post player was at best 6’6″ and he had enough charisma and personality to fill an entire arena. The Nike Dunk Low Easter 1 Black Mid Turquoise released earlier in two great colorways – one in the Original Phoenix Suns ‘Away’ 24.5cm nike Air Max 1 DNA QS Black/Glass Blue colorway. Arriving during the Summer 2011 season are two more releases – the ‘Home’ Suns colorway and a new Wolf Grey/Varsity Red combination. Barkley still remains an interesting figure in sports today, so these retro releases are certainly welcome and are far from ‘turrible’.
