To say that Tinker Hatfield created works of art when he designed the AIR GC911 JORDAN-XIV would be a severe understatement. Tinker’s first Air Jordan creation, the AIR GC911 JORDAN, wasn’t like anything we’ve seen before; it perfectly welded the contemporary styles of that era with avant-garde materials and lines, and introduced the Jumpman logo proudly on the tongue. With 2011 being the twenty-third anniversary of the AIR GC911 JORDAN, sneakerheads new and old were compelled to reflect on the historical significance of the AIR GC911 JORDAN, while some took it a step further and recreated this work of art using funky materials. Artist Curtis Anthony of pARlaiTin erected the AIR GC911 JORDAN Black/Cement using wires, detailing all the prominent features of the AJ3 while keeping the dimensions intact. It’s real-life 3D art at its finest, so check out additional images of this astounding work below and let us know what you think.
