“My first ever shoe collaboration with Vans Vault [is] releasing [in] January 2012.”
Urlfreeze News gave you a sneak preview of Levi Maestro’s Vans Vault collabo about a week ago, a video that had the shoe depicted just bean so that you couldn’t tell exactly what silhouette he wa holding. A week later, we have a new look at the Maestro Knows x Off the Wall teamup, and it’s pretty clear that the base model at work here is a vans era 95 dx anaheim factory og black ’77. But Levi didn’t just slap his favorite colors and/or materials on that existing silo, rather, he reworked it into a stripe-less, heel cup-less deconstructed model that’s somewhere between classic California skate and a sneaker that “looks like it could be at Bloomingdales.” The multicolored waffle sole is a nice finishing touch for the tonal grey suede/leather upper, and you can see more images plus the video he shot at the Sneaker Freaker offices, all by clicking on the jump below.
