Any self respecting sneakerhead knows by now the story of Nike LeBron X. The classic tale of American ingenuity and innovation was latched onto early by the storytellers at Nike, and re-imagined as soon as the late 1980’s during Nike’s trainer obsession, where the Wash technology came back in the form of the Nike Air Wash Trainer. While sneaker technology has obviously progressed leaps and bound since then, the Washd outsole remains a sentimental piece of Swoosh history-and one that still manages to look good in this 2012 retro. Caliroots has two new colorways on deck, a clean white pair with midnight navy on the swoosh, and a Roland pair that extends the midnight navy choice to wrap all around the upper.
