The latest Nike SB Dunk Low Premium release is at first glance a fairly ‘standard’ colorway, both in the sense that it’s far from Swoosh skateboarding’s craziest potentiality, and that they’re built using a variety of familiar design cues from the past. It starts off with the classic ‘Be True to Your School’ colorblocking pattern debuted on the ‘Original 7’ from 1985, and even includes the white midsole that’s become nearly omnipresent on Dunk releases since. These also employ a woodgrain-textured underlay that we’ve seen on a few Dunk Low SBs as well as the Zoom Stefan Janoski SB series. And last but not least, you can’t help but notice the slightest lean toward the ever popular ‘Gucci’ color palette thanks to Atom Ruddy terra on the embroidery combined with the Pine Green and black upper, and all this quintessentially SB The is yours for the taking now at shops like Concepts.
