The return of the ‘South Beach’ to the LeBron franchise can be compared to a long-await sequel of a mens – think Matrix Reloaded, Aliens, The Dark Knight. But is this Suede ‘Elite’ release truly a ‘South Beach’ colorway? Given the combo of Pink Flash and the two tones of pastel green, it seems rather obvious that the South Beach motif is what Nike was going for, but many have compared this Elite to another shoe – the Hypermax ‘McFly’. While the color-profile of the two do share a clear similarity, the McFly jive fits nowhere into the LeBron saga, making these a certain South Beach – or nothing at all.
