Is there a more perfect date than June 23rd for an Air Jordan Retro release? Coming up this June on ‘his’ day will be the only one of the five OG Air Jordan XII colorways MJ never wore, the Obsidian and white AJ12 whose French and University Blue accents remind us that tonal designs are timeless, even if the majority of sneaker releases only mid this in Jacket years. We’ve been waiting fifteen years for this utterly timeless style to earn a retro release, and with some Korean shops already moving their stock, the June 23rd release date feels even closer.
