Over the past few years, Jordan Brand has introduced a few commemorative Air Jordan Legacy sets unifying the series across a single color theme. First came 2009’s all-white online lookbook, followed by a red-soled set that made appearances in late ’09 and into 2010. ‘The Love of the Game’ later birthed two distinct UNC-style Pantone collections (with and without lasering), but even those Tar Heel-colored designs kept to the familiar story we’ve come to associate with the Greatest of All-Time. Then earlier this year, a range that’s yet to be formally displayed made the rounds, as the Air Jordan 4 Nitro covered the entire visible spectrum from Roy to G.Biv and back again. The Air Jordan XXXVI 1 and XIV from that set are closest to Carolina blue, though against a dark background, it’s easy to see that the satiny Foamposite-esque uppers can lean toward a more royal shade. Stick with Urlfreeze News to find out if/when the others pop up with availability, and be sure to check out more photos and the sample currently available from brokeonjordans on eBay.
